Hello to all,
I'm working in my job with various versions of QNX (6.1, 6.2.1, 6.3)
since we still mantain embedded machines with older QNX versions. To
me is very useful to be able to execute qnx in a virtual machine and I
find that vmware is by far faster than virtualPC doing emulation. I've
succeeded installing Qnx in Vmware with 6.3 and 6.2.1 following
instructions at openqnx.com, but I have a problem with Qnx 6.1.
When I create a new vmware machine, and install Qnx from cd,
everything goes right, but when the installation reboots and the video
mode selection screen appears, the keyboard and mouse do not work. At
that moment, i restart the virtual machine and i get the login dialog
in a very log resolution. The keyboard works, and i can login. Using
keyboar I'm able to change resolution (vesa 1024x768/16 bit/60Hz),
configure network (I have qnet, tcp, etc. working), but the mouse does
not work.
I can't make the mouse work, and I wonder if anyone has succeed doing
that. It's a shame since everything seems to work flawesly. Any help
will be appreciated, thank you
